Chintan Pandya

Chintan Pandya, the founder of Fanatika and TransIndus Foundation, is an artist of International fame. He has been performing across four continents (Europe, North America, Asia and Africa), in more than 20 countries and has been acting, writing and directing for theatre, television and cinema.

He is the writer and the lead actor of "Bharati", one of the top five shows in the world at present that has received more than 2.5 million spectators so far. He was also invited to perform dramatic readings of Indian texts in French at the prestigious "Theatre du Soleil" of Arianne Mnouchekine in Paris and has been invited to offer philosophical dramatic readings at Morari Bapu's Ramkathas in Greece and the UK.

He was invited as the resident artist in the International Theatre Laboratory in Rome, as the Official Indian Delegate to the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe by the British Council, and as the Expert Artist for performance and workshop at the International Theatre Festival of Senegal.

He also teaches at various universities and institutions and is regularly invited to perform and conduct workshops of international scale in many countries.

He has trained at the CEPT Univeristy and was selected by the British Council to train with the Royal Shakespeare Company and Central School of Speech and Drama (CSSD) - University of London. He is also an expert on "Performing Shakespeare" and conducts workshops on the same across India for all age groups.

The combination of being an artist and a pedagogue, he has designed modules to use Theatre as a learning tool and works extensively with children too. He also give Theatre Therapy to Children with Special Needs (autism, down's syndrome) and to people victim of Trauma of different stages.
