Dr. Sangeeta Gupta
Writer, Artist and FilmmakerSangeeta Gupta is a Delhi based bilingual poet, writer, artist and filmmaker. She
recently retired as chief commissioner of Income Tax, also worked as Advisor (finance & administration) at Lalit Kala Akademi, National Akademi of visual arts. She is Member, Finance committee ,JNU since November 2018.
She has to her credit 35 solo exhibitions of paintings, and 25 published books including fourteen anthologies of poems in Hindi and six in English. 10 of her collection of poems are translated in German, Greek, Mandarin, English, Bangla, Dogri, Tamil and Urdu.
She has directed, scripted and shot 17 documentary films 7 of them are in the collection of Library of Congress, US.

Sangeeta Gupta has been adjudged as highly commended poet of the year 2020 in the category of Faith-centred poetry by DestinyPoets, International CommunityofPoets(ICOP),
She has participated in various poetry festivals in India and abroad including Jaipur Literature Festival, Jashn e Adab several times. Also read her poems at World Hindi Conference 2012,World Congress of Poets 2019, Grand ‘mushaira’ in Oshawa, Toronto, Canada 2019.
